Well, haven't I been a tad rubbish?

Hello gorgeous folks, my apologies for disapearing up my own bottom in a miasma of sadness and pretense that I shouldn't be bothering any more.

Tied up in my own feelings concerning moving, breaking up, managing things as a single entitity and such. Work also consumed a lot of my spare time and sorting out my own space has been difficult.

However, this must now be turned around.

I will be posting a mini series about my new home over the next few weeks, while I sort out the new studio, which in a way feels like when the Tardis control room regenerates. There is a brand new business plan being written for Purky Products. The Purky himself is being sorted out, there may need to be large sticks involved and of course Phileous Mogg (the company feline) will be in attendance.

Hi everyone,

Hello my friends in the blogoverse,

my sincere apologies for not blogging sooner but been very busy with moving house and not had easy internet access.

A lot of the emotional aspects of the break up came into finer focus as I removed my belongings from the home we shared and I believed we were happy in.

The first area I set up properly was the kitchen, its a bit raggedy and the cupboard doors are falling off but it feels very homely because in a bizarre coincidence it has the same fittings and finish as the kitechn in my mothers house.

I got a bed area sorted up on the messanine (sp? lol) and other stuff came in dribs and drabs.

The only major thing missing now is my studio equipment and materials, plus my cat the beloved Phileous Mogg.

Need to sort out whats in the house now then make an epic push to finish it all off.

As an aside, I am using the wifi of the local cafe bar, it doesnt have wifi for customers but I asked the barman very nicely and smiled.

Moving House

A new one for me, I have typed this blog post out before bringing it over to Blogger, not sure why but there we go.

I paid over a thousand pounds yesterday and got the keys to my new apartment.

It has a brilliantly done inventory which fully acknowledges all the broken bits, dirty cupboards etc so I am not as worried about my deposit now.

The moving bit, I am finding very hard to wrap my head around. I have lots of stuff, that I will never deny but I am trying to move one room at a time and reuse boxes. I am hoping that will help me avoid the temptation of just chucking stuff still boxed in the attic.

I have decided to use the ‘bedroom’ as my lounge and make it really snug with sofas and bookcases, the TV and Xbox.

The mezzanine is going to be my bedroom area and again will be snugified.

The kitchen is a good size and my Aunt has given me a countertop oven and stove so I can cook a bit now. Due to my hugely diminished budget I am mostly going to be eating rice and frozen veggies.

Also looking at the property, I think my beautiful Phil cat is going to be ok in there with me. I will move him across in a few weeks, once it is relatively sorted and I feel a bit more settled.

Plus, on a studio front, I think I am going to place it in the main living area, because it deserves to be the centre of my life. With two large chill out zones established it can happily sit in the lounge space. Plus that’s where all the light is.

I know I can do this but it all feels so . . . well unfair is the childish answer but also the main one. I am tied up in a swirling vortex of anger, sadness, resentment and hope.

All of this will settle down once I have finished moving in, its just a question of getting there.

My apologies for blogging sporadically, will rectify it as soon as possible.

Hi folks,

I just got a call from my lettings agent to let me know all the references and credit checks went through and the property is mine just as soon as I pull in £1000 to cover the deposit and first months rent up front.

 That is the property, it is not quite as big as it looks in the pictures but I think myself and Phil are going to be very happy there in person and cat cohabitation.

I aim to get the keys on August the 1st and be properly moved in within a week from that date. I will move Phil across once I am a bit more settled because he will have to stay in for a fortnight and I do not want him to be too stressed.

Packing time I suppose?

Two weeks huh?

Hiya folks, sorry its been so long.

I have been in that odd place of co habitation once a relationship has been terminated.

I filled in and dropped in the forms to let a flat I viewed yesterday and so I am in that awkward place. I need to wait and find out if my application will be granted and then I need to start the horrible process of moving out.

I will update this a bit later because my thoughts are somewhat scattered.
